Point Richmond garage sale to benefit Masquers

The annual Point Richmond neighborhood garage sale will be held starting at 9 a.m. Monday, May 27th with more than 100 houses expected to participate and 10 percent of proceeds going toward the Masquers Playhouse.

The Masquers will also host its own sale, including refreshments, fresh coffee and doughnuts early and hot dogs at noon, in front of the theater. A map showing participating houses will be available for 25 cents at the theater.

The Masquers Playhosue is an all-volunteer community theater, celebrating its 58th year in Richmond.
Across the street in Indian Statue Park, the seventh Fine Fiddle Festival, also sponsored by the Masquers, begins at 8 a.m. with Bobbi Nikles' "Douce Ambiane,"
followed at 10 a.m. by Kit Eakle's "Hot Club of Marin" and concluding from noon to 2 p.m. with Rodney Freeland's "Impro-billies."

The Point Richmond Methodist Church (West Richmond Avenue at Martina) will have its Junktique fair with its famous-recipe pancake breakfast from 8 a.m.-11 a.m.
