There is a new mural being painted on the south portal of the auto tunnel by famed local muralist John Wehrle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_O._Wehrle) dedicated to the memory of past PRNC president Peter Minkwitz, who was an active voice and volunteer in the Point Richmond community for many years.

John has left an indelible mark on Richmond with wonderful murals on many of the overpasses throughout the city, and the interior rear wall of the Richmond Plunge, among many other works.

John says this may be one of his last, as he's getting too old to be spending time on ladders and lifts. Thanks to Bruce Beyaert for talking him into taking this on, and to all the folks who contributed to the fund!
