This is the E-FORUM’s first missing dog posting, but this is an unusual circumstance. Lucia’s guardian is Arlien Rodini, a neighbor who is very ill. Following is Arline’s plea:
I wonder if you could be so kind as to help me find, what appears to be a stolen dog, by putting me in touch with the appropriate staff in the police department that cold alert officers to keep their eyes open for Lucia, my dog of 11years.  She is extremely important to my survival these days.....had her since she was a pup.  You may know, as I have noticed many others do, that I have stage 4 inoperable lung cancer in addition to a couple of other cancers and have been on chemo since last November.  I seldom go to public functions because my blood counts are really low due to chemo....yet I am still driving myself around, walking Lucia and shopping.
It is suspected that Lucia might have been stolen, as her collar and identification were found on Garrard Boulevard at West Cutting.
