  Re-elect Tom Butt Campaign 2012 - 21 Days
October 15, 2012

It’s 21 days until election day. All of the scheduled campaign candidates forums are over. The one I previously listed for October 17, 2012, at the Santa Fe Neighborhood Council is not a candidates forum; it is simply a Business Breakfast/Mixer hosted by the Santa Fe Neighborhood Council. The Santa Fe Neighborhood Council has specifically requested that I advise people not to attend unless they are a member.

If you don’t know who you are going to vote for in the Richmond City Council race, all you have left to inform you are mailers, signs, candidates’ statements and candidates’ websites. Maybe some yet unpublished media stories.

I have some lawn signs left. If you need one, contact Gina Rango at gina.rango@intres.com, or call Gina at 510-236-7435.

For details on candidates, another good source is http://www.smartvoter.org/.

Some of the candidates have positioned or aligned themsleves with special interests. The Chevron candidates are Bates, Bell and Roberson. I am an independent candidate, but I have a constructive and practical attitude about Chevron, pretty well described in the resolution passed unanimously by the City Council on October 5.

I am hoping that you have allocated one of your three votes for me.

My list of endorsers continues to grow. See http://www.tombutt.com/endorsements.htm.

In case you missed any of them, you can click on the hyperlinks below to see the four mailers I have sent.
