It’s time to plan for September and October now that Labor Day weekend has become history.  In doing so, you’ll be amazed by the cornucopia of fun and rewarding events offered along the Bay Trail in Richmond.  Check out the Richmond Bay Trail Calendar to learn about:

• Statewide Coastal Cleanup Day at four locations along Richmond’s shoreline
• Festivals on both the northern and southern shorelines offering a fun run, amphibious Duck rides, music, a free BarBQ, etc.
• Guided walks exploring Brooks Island, Landfill Loop Bay Trail, Point Molate, & Point Pinole
• Low tide shoreline exploration with an EBRPD naturalist
• Birding on foot and by bicycle
• NPS ranger-led walks and bike rides to learn about WWII-era waterfront history and the enormous teamwork effort on the Home Front

• Second Annual Keller Cove Open Water Swim
• Kayak trips to Brooks Island
