Now is a great time for you to demonstrate your commitment to our efforts and support Richmond Main Street by becoming a friend of Main Street: volunteer, donate, sponsor events and programs, spread the word. As we struggle through the trials and tribulations of proposed budget cuts to the redevelopment agencies that support programs like ours throughout the state of California, we are confronting an enormous uphill battle. Yet, we are uniquely positioned to offer programs, services, and community events that boosts community development and invigorates small businesses.
Richmond Main Street is looking to engage new friends and rally our long-time supporters to stand tall with us in these uncertain times. We understand

that the state has serious budget constraints but we sincerely believe that committed investment in our towns is imperative to sustaining long-term positive changes and meaningful growth.
Summer will be here before we know it. Look for our signature events like the Music on the Main Summer Concerts, healthy activities in the Community "Green" Space on Habour Way and Macdonald Ave, and the Youth Entrepreneur Program. In conjunction with and support from the East Bay Center for Performing Arts we will introduce our Iron Triangle Legacy Project featuring Downtown Champions- Fred D. Jackson, Betty Reid Soskin, Joanne King, Janet Johnson, and Ramona Samuels in October.
Stay tuned, Stay energized, Stay involved. Help us keep pushing forward. Donate today! |

Amanda Elliott
