Richmond’s annual Home Front Festival that celebrates Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front National Historical Park begins this year with the traditional USO Dance on Friday night, October 1 at the Craneway Pavilion.
Festivities continue on Saturday, October 2 at the Craneway Pavilion and Shipyard 3. At 9:00 AM, Saturday, October 2, the YMCA is sponsoring 5K & 10K Bay Trail fun runs/walks to start off the Home Front Festival By the Bay featuring Mountain Hardwear t-shirts, refreshments, award ceremony with gifts and medals to overall and age group winners, and post-race raffle.
