RICHMOND/EL CERRITO — Residents can give feedback on plans to complete the Richmond Greenway at community meetings over the next two weeks.
The cities of Richmond and El Cerrito are designing the next phase of the bicycle and pedestrian path and a new crossing at San Pablo Avenue that connects to the Ohlone Greenway.
Design drawings will be available for public comment from 7 to 8:30 p.m. May 27 at the Richmond City Council chambers, 440 Civic Center Plaza in Richmond, and from 7 to 8:30 p.m. June 1 at the El Cerrito City Council chambers, 10890 San Pablo Ave. in El Cerrito.
The Richmond Greenway is a planned bicycle and pedestrian path constructed on abandoned Santa Fe railroad corridor parallel to Ohio and Chanslor streets. Once completed, it will connect the San Francisco Bay Trail and the Ohlone Greenway.
