Chevron released the statement today with the summary: “Chevron and the City of Richmond have reached an agreement regarding several tax-related issues related to the Richmond refinery.  The agreement will provide Richmond with a known, steady and long-term source of revenue to support community services, while at the same time guaranteeing that the refinery will face a predictable and clearly defined tax obligation to the city.”
