Two Richmond projects were selected for design awards by the San Francisco Chapter of the American Institute of Architects on May 6. In the category, Historic Preservation and Innovation in Rehabilitation, the Richmond Civic Center won an Honor Award (architect Nadel, Inc.,) and the Adaptive Reuse of the Historic Ford Assembly Building (Marcy Wong Donn Logan Architects), won a Merit Award.
