·         Thursday, November 26th, Thanksgiving morning, the Point Richmond Business Association (PRBA) is organizing the Point Richmond Turkey Shoot.  Bring your goats, dogs, birds, vintage vehicles, friends and family for this "awe-inspiring annual event."  We meet in front of the Plunge at 10:00 am.  Then we're off to The Spot for the poetry reading and the "Shoot."   This decades old tradition is a great little "activity" for Thanksgiving morning while the Turdey roasts.  Please call 234-4219  for more info.        

·         Saturday, November 28th, at 5:30 pm, the PRBA hosts the Annual Point Richmond Tree Lighting with Santa's Arrival.  The evening begins with caroling lead by the Point Richmond Methodist Church choir and includes refreshments and of course and appearance by Santa.  Many of the stores and restaurants will be open that evening so come and "make a night of it."  The celebration will be held in the Indian Statue Rose Garden.  For info call 234-4219             

·         Saturday, December 5th form 11 am to 5 pm, The Arts of Point Richmond organization will be holding their 2nd "Annual Holliday Art Fest" at 217 West Richmond in Point Richmond.  There will be music, art, gifts, handmade jewelry, greeting cards, cookies, cider and lots more.  It's a great place to do your Holiday shopping.   Call 234-3822 for more info.

·         Sun. Nov. 22, 3 p.m. -  Free Classical Concert by Trio CGY - Hear works by Beethoven, Brahams, Faure, Ravel and others on violin, cello and piano at this Free Concert.

·         Thurs. Nov. 26 - Thanksgiving Feast - Interfaith service at 11:30 a.m.,  Free dinner for the community 12 Noon -2 p.m.

·         Thurs. Dec. 17, 7 p.m. - Christmas Concert - "Carols, Old and New" - Holiday music with the Joyful Noise Choir and Angel Choir at the church.  

·         Sat. Dec. 19, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Holiday Bake Sale - delicious homemade holiday baked goods, at Interactive Resources,      117 Park Place, Point Richmond.    

·         Thurs. Dec. 24, 7 p.m. - Annual Christmas Eve Jazz Service - Holiday music with Dan Damon Jazz Quartet and special     guests.  A holiday tradition that is always standing room only, arrive early for best seating.
