GRIP's 23rd ANNUAL HARMONY WALK

THIS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2009
Civic Center Plaza, 26th and Nevin, Richmond

Registration and Rally begin at 8 a.m.
The Harmony Walk begins at 9 a.m.

Free refreshments, music, and a prize drawing for walkers!

Each year, hundreds of community members gather for an inspirin
Latino boy in man's armsg rally, walking together to fight hunger and homelessness in the Greater Richmond community.

Accompanied by the El Cerrito High School Marching Band, the 3.3 mile Harmony Walk will begin and end at Civic Center Plaza. It will take us along the upper Macdonald corridor and Barrett Avenue, from 22nd to 42nd Streets.

Each year, the Harmony Walk brings new visibility to the homeless while raising critical funds to support GRIP's Family Housing and Supportive Services Center.

Our 2009 goal is to raise over $200,000. Join us! When you ask your friends, families, coworkers, and neighbors to support your Walk with us, you will help hundreds of homeless and hungry individuals and families to take a step toward a better life.
