The historic neighborhood of Point Richmond, equal parts family-friendly and fun-loving, will hold its first-ever FALL FEST on Saturday, October 10th.

FALL FEST will feature live music, an arts fair, beer garden, chili cook-off and fall-inspired activities for people of all ages and interests. All this takes place from 10 AM to 8 PM on Washington Avenue and Park Place in downtown Point Richmond, just off the 580 freeway.

The event is a collaborative effort by the Point Richmond Business Association, Point Richmond Music,   Parents Resources and More (PRAM), and Arts of Point Richmond. Admission is FREE!

“We’re taking the classic fall fest concept and putting our Point Richmond stamp on it--come one, come all, celebrate diversity and the arts, and bring your dancing shoes,” says Andrew Butt. “We love sharing our neighborhood with our friends from all over the Bay Area and beyond. There will truly be something for everybody.”

All day long, the Point Richmond Community Center will hold an “Edible Garden” themed open house, featuring tutorials such as “world cooking for kids,” “how to create your personal outdoor paradise,” and more.
