We spent the weekend at the 2009 Kate Wolf Memorial Music Festival at the Black Oak Ranch up north of Laytonville on Highway 101. One of the perennial performers at Kate Wolf and a former resident of Point Richmond is Rosalie Sorrels.

Rosalie is staying in Point Richmond for a few days with friends and will be performing at the First United Methodist Church on the corner of West Richmond Avenue and Martina Street tomorrow (Wednesday), July1, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Rosalie is a Grammy-nominated and nationally-known Folk Singer and Storyteller Extraordinaire. She will perform two sets, and Jazz Pianist Pastor Dan Damon will entertain during the intermission.  $10 suggested donation.  Rosalie's CDs will be available for sale.
