At 4:09 PM today, the Contra Costa County Elections Office released updated election results, presumably from approximately 3,540 absentee ballots dropped off at polling places and/or provisional ballots. In the City Council race, Jeff Ritterman is still No.1 at 16.23%, but I have overtaken Nat Bates for second place with 15.47%. Bates is 15.24% and 165 votes behind me and 331 votes ahead of Jovanka Beckles.

Measure T is still ahead at 51.48% Yes to 48.52% No, a total of 838 votes difference.

We don’t know how many more ballots are left to be counted.
