On October 31^st, the Richmond Rotary club will be celebrating Halloween at Winehaven and you are invited! Richmond's own "castle" is normally off limits to the public, so take advantage of this unique opportunity. Ticket price includes lunch, a historic presentation, wine auction and a docent let tour. I will be making a presentation on the intriguing history of Winehaven, once the center of the California Wine Industry right here in Richmond and now part of the Point Molate property turned over by the Navy to the City of Richmond and the subject of controversy about its future use.
