This is not an April Fool’s joke, although it would sure make a good one. Despite some speculation that the Planning Commission would be advised by Richmond staff to recirculate the Chevron Energy and Hydrogen Renewal project EIR based on advice from the California attorney general, that appears not to be the case. Staff appears to be proceeding to get the FEIR certified and the project approved as fast as possible regardless of any advice from anyone and any opinions from the public.
