Supervisor John Gioia invites you to a sneak preview of a PBS
documentary about how race and socioeconomic status contribute to
unequal health outcomes in the United States. This is an issue we need
to address head-on.
The episode we will show highlights Richmond, California.
Contra Costa County's Health Department has an initiative to reduce
health disparities in our county and is seeking public involvement. We
will have a brief discussion about this issue after the 30 minute film.
