Many Richmond residents have received sort of a Christmas card from Chevron, entitled “Chevron Richmond Refinery, our place in the community. Community update news and views from the Richmond refinery featuring an important message from Jim Brumfield.”

The mailing piece is about the Hydrogen Renewal Project and has a postage paid reply card that one E-FORUM subscriber sent back to Chevron with the following comments: "Be a good corporate citizen and drop your tax appeal.  Your greed is incredible and now you want us to say yes?  I say NO WAY!!  PAY YOUR TAXES!”

I encourage people to return the reply card with similar comments so that Chevron gets the message loud and clear.
