After an auspicious start about a year ago, Chevron’s website (http://www.richmond-today.com/) offering community news and events (Chevron Fills Critical Information Gap With Community Website, July 29, 2006) appears to have run out of gas.

Launched in July 2006, the website was touted by Chevron as “…designed to provide Richmond residents with a one-stop online resource for community news and information they can use and enjoy.”

Apparently Chevron is preoccupied with more important tasks like making the largest quarterly profit ever and planning a refinery expansion that will further pollute Richmond.
