Richmond is preparing to officially roll out the Rosie the Riveter WWW II Home Front National Historical Park this fall with a three-day Home Front themed festival that is expected to attract regional as well as national interest. The festival has been set at the same time of Richmond’s former “Festival by the Bay” to take advantage of the best weather, and it will incorporate everything that the “Festival by the Bay” offered. Only it will be much bigger and better.

Volunteers and staff from the Richmond Chamber of Commerce, the Rosie the Riveter World War II Home Front National Historical Park. Rosie the Riveter Trust and the City of Richmond, along with many other organizations and individuals, are very busy planning the Home Front Festival By-the-Bay on the last weekend of September (28, 29 and 30).  Check out the festival website:  www.homefrontfestival.com.
