North Richmond Shoreline Coalition Workshop February 14, 2007 |
The work you do
matters to the North Richmond Shoreline. We invite you to
attend:
February 22nd,
2007, 3-6pm
The North
Richmond Shoreline encompasses the waters, mudflats, marshes,
and animals between Pt. San Pablo and Pt. Pinole on the
Goals of Workshop:
1)
Learn about who
is working to improve the environment along the North Richmond
Shoreline.
2)
Share with others
the work that you do that may be related to the North Richmond
Shoreline.
3)
Identify areas
for collaboration and resource sharing.
Who will attend:
Groups working in community development, environment, education,
or environmental justice along and near the North Richmond
Shoreline.
This workshop
will be hosted by the
Because improving
the quality of life along the shoreline for both humans and
animals will depend on many diverse groups working together, we
hope you can join us in the critical coalition-building
workshop. Let’s start linking efforts!
We will follow
this letter up with a phone call to begin collecting information
about your organization and the work you do.
After the
meeting, we will serve pizza and show a 30-minute documentary
about Rheem Creek, one of the three creeks that feed into the
Shoreline.
