Dear Mr. Butt:

 

One of our agents, Marcus Hinds, wrote a letter to some residents in the City of Richmond offering his services to help them, in his words, “move to a more desirable area with better schools”.  The letter also states that many of his clients are selling their home in the Richmond area and buying a larger home in a safer area with better schools.

 

Security Pacific Real Estate Brokerage has operated its business in the City of Richmond since 1971 and we believe Richmond is a very desirable, attractive and innovative city.  Many of our Realtors invest and reside in the City of Richmond.  Security Pacific does not and will not condone or tolerate the remarks made by our agent who wrote the letter.  This agent has been reprimanded and we greatly apologize for any ill feelings or hurt this unfortunate letter has caused.
