There is, as they say, a new sheriff in town, and he is shaking things up. The geographic reorganization put in place by Chief Magnus is up and running and is getting rave reviews. There is a new attitude about proactively and responsively policing neighborhoods and communities. Officers are actively encouraging citizens to phone and email them with neighborhood concerns, tips, comments, information, complaints and even suspicions.  Information sharing is the new buzzword.
