An overlooked source of interesting news stories on Richmond is the North Gate News Online, a project of the U.C. Berkeley School of Journalism. I have noticed several young reporters at City Council meetings lately, and I sometimes get calls from U.C. School of Journalism students regarding Richmond issues. Until yesterday, I had no idea where these assignments ended up. Now I do. They can be found on line at http://journalism.berkeley.edu/ngno/.

This was brought to my attention as a voter was holding a candidate to a position quoted in one of the stories about the proposed Upstream project at Point Molate.
