Following today’s hearing on ChevronTexaco’s request for a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) prohibiting the City of Richmond from moving ahead on a vote to approve the proposed Point Molate Land Disposition and Development Agreement (LDDA), the Court technically ruled against ChevronTexaco but also limited any final City action on the LDDA. According to my sources, the Court allowed the City Council only to discuss and signal its intent prior to September 20 when there is a follow up hearing scheduled on an injunction.

It appears that the subject will remain on tomorrow night’s agenda, but for purposes of discussion and public input only.
