ART VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY For four days this September, the City of Richmond is hosting Artrain USA, the nation's only art museum on a train. Artrain USA is a state of the art museum traveling across America. Its current show is Artistry of Space: The NASA Art Program contains paintings by many historically important artists including Robert Rauschenberg, Andy Warhol, and Peter Max. The 5-car train will be stationed next to the U.C. Berkeley Field Station off Hwy 580 (exit at Regatta or Bayview). In addition to the Art Train Exhibit, the event will include hands-on activities by Lawrence Hall of Science, Richmond Art Center, NASA and others and will include adult tours of the Berkeley Field Station. We are looking for volunteers to serve as Docents for 4-hour shifts and as Activity Leaders for 4-hour shifts. We will provide training. You need not have science or art background to volunteer. If you are of high school age or older, like working with people and are enthusiastic about space and/or art, please mail, fax or e-mail this application to us. Each Docent will: * .
