Richmond Hosts Movie Crew Filming "The Sweetest Thing"

For those of you who asked for photographic proof, the attached photo shows Cameron Diaz and Christina Applegate arriving at a dress shop to purchase some clothes from their carwash catastrophe wrapped in roadmaps from their car.

For those of you who asked, the police detail of off-duty Richmond officers is paid for by the movie company, not the City of Richmond. And, yes, there are a number of local extras, and local shops and restaurants are being compensated for business interruptions. The movie company has also donated money for local schools, charitable and community projects.
